How to paint wildflowers in a tiny decorative vase.

Hello friends. In today's lesson we will paint wildflowers in a tiny decorative vase. I will demonstrate one way of decorative painting. For work, we need the following materials. I use canvas 50 /60. You can choose other size canvas, I like to work with large canvases.

0.44min This looks very original in your interior and in someone else's, if you decide to present a painting.
0.53 The paints are acrylic and oil.
1.02  Acrylic paints for background, oil paints for this composition.
1.08  We will need a ruler, a pencil and a piece of chalk for the job. Chalk is needed to transfer the composition on a three-color background. After that to work with paints.
1.31 Paper napkins for wiping the brush and Painting tape.
1.50 I use acrylic paints only three colors. Ivory Black, Naples Yellow and Burnt Siena paints.
2.08 This is brown – red paint. They're acrylic paints.

2.18 I use Burnt Siena paint for central part of the background.
2.26 Then on the background we will display light-yellow daisies.
2.45 These are colors are well used in the composition.
2.56 I use oil paints Winsor Newton Artists.
3.22 You can choose other types of paint. The main thing is the colors. Whitewashed titanium, cadmium light yellow for daisies. I use chromium oxide for the vase.
This color is well used for bronze emission.
3.54 For greenery use green herbal paint.
4.09 For the purple-blue flowers, I used light purple paint. The main thing on a dark background is to show the brightness of flowers.
4.37 Now let's talk about brushes. For our composition I took a wide brush. It can quickly stretch out three colors without mixing them
4.52 I used only four brushes for the oil paints. They're two flat and two rounds.
5.15 The number of the brush is not important, all manufacturers have different brushes. Using a wider and rounded brush, you can quickly sketch a picture. For daisies, you can also use round brushes to create petals and stems.
5.52 You may want to use a thinner brush and make the stem thinner.
6.07 We are going to need a palette-knife. I use a rhombus- shaped palette knife to apply a decorate touch at the end of the work.
6.19 Washing-up biological means for brushes. It is not toxic and has no smell.

7.18 This is a tracing paper (calculus).  On the tracing paper there is a drawing beforehand. In the process of work it will be modified. It is important for us to have a drawing, an image, a sketch before our eyes. During the work the composition will change, fill up. This art is intuitive. Our goal is not to copy the drawing, but to give creativity and fantasy.8.40 On a clean tracing paper we create a drawing, carefully transfer it to the canvas, add flowers and create our composition.
9.20 We are starting our lesson.

First of all, let's start decorating the background. I put three colors of acrylic paints. I start with the corners and fill it with torn, chaotic movements.

10.01 Try to fill the canvas uniformly, without spaces. From lighter to darker tones.
Now on a brush we will take Burnt Sienna and chaotically put in the center of a canvas. Strongly do not rub the paint.

12.00 Do not be afraid to experiment. If you do not like the background, you can add paint, create decorative moments. The brush is semi-dry and pulls out the paint. Create a semi-soft background with soft corners.

13.00 I've decided to add a little black in this corner. The part where the vase will be located I will make black paint.
14.00 I'm going to gently pull out the paint with a wide brush rib. I'll do the same thing on this side. Create decorative moments.

Here I will also add Burnt Sienna.I will also add yellow paint to the sides of the painting. I use a wide brush. The main thing is not to rub the paints. 16.00 Now step aside and see what you have done. We need to paint the side of the canvas with black pain. I paint the sides with black paint.

17.00 Recently I have been observing that decorative paintings are very popular. They are already ready; you can hang them on the wall right away.

Paintings that are under-painted and under-drawn are also popular. In these paintings stored intrigue, riddle. It's all very interesting. There is something to think about. The picture should dry up for 30- 40 minutes.

19.13 Let’s get to the drawing. Put the width and height of the vase on the tracing paper. Go to the table (on a flat surface). Our drawing should be in front of our eyes. Next to it, we put a clean tracing paper and attach it to the table with a painting tape. Divide the taping paper into two equal parts.

19.36 The upper part is the neck of the vase. We draw an elongated oval. The lower part is also an elongated oval.
20.09 The center of the vase is marked with a circle. From the neck of the vase stretch rounded stripes. If it is not clear, review several times.

When you draw all the main lines of the vase, point out all the lines boldly. The vase has serpentine handles. I love using vase for my work
22.54 You might want to change the vase; you'll have a different image, a different vision. It's all right. The goal is not to copy the drawing, but to run your creativity, fantasy. Perhaps you can draw other handles on the vase, make the central part wider, the neck narrower. This is also normal. Here I have marked the place of the table. The table will be an imitation of marble. It's a small bedside table.

24.25 Carefully take-off the tracing paper, turn it over to the other side, and make a fold in the middle. Attach again to the table. Now we can see our mistakes. Correct all the mistakes. Especially handles of the vase.

26.00 Fold out the tracing paper and see what happens. Glue and put all the lines together. From a back side we draw a picture. Correctly transfer the pattern to the surface.

27.20 Now turn the tracing paper to the other side, fix it with masking tape. Take the chalk or pastel dry pencil and draw all the lines. And here is what we have done. Now back to our canvas. We take the drawing and attach it in the corner of canvas. Now back to our canvas. We take the drawing and attach it in the corner of the canvas. Don't forget we have another table and flowers.

The vase should be placed so that it is not too low to the bottom of the canvas. Attach the tracing paper to the canvas. Now take HB pencil and trace all the lines. Take your time; the important thing is to translate all the lines correctly.

34.00 Chalk can be circled around the drawing again. Cover the drawing with chalk. This way is very efficient, accessible and looks very beautiful. Now take the chalk, look at the picture in the corner and beautifully restore all the lines

Unfortunately, the photo camera does not transmit all the tint in the original, especially places with shading spots. The continuation of my story read in the second part
